I think Glory Days does a better job at not glorifying an apathetic generation. RENT, and American idiot both make it seem cool to be fucked up and directionless. That’s ironic since it’s called GLORY DAYS which is probably THE POINT. I love theatre.

listening to so much glory days. this show is kind of like american idiot with less drugs, more gay and no one goes to war. but hey still the same idea. we are running a race, but we’re okay if we don’t win it.
